The Fits - Fact Or Fiction

Side One: Tears Of A Nation + Bravado + Peace & Quiet
Side Two: Fact Or Fiction + Give Away + Achilles Heel + Action

Always wanted to post this one... now it's done!!! Check out John's archives and you'll find more of this great band!

I'll only add this great mini LP, is a compilation of 3 singles, The first when they were signed to Crass subsiduary Chorpus Christi for the one single, the epic "Tears of a Nation". The other two were on the Peter & The Test Tube Babies ran Trapper records, releasing the classic "Peace & Quiet" on a split 12" with The Test Tube Babies, along with these two belters, 'Fact Or Fiction' & 'Achilles Heel'.
Fantastic Stuff.

J,
Great post & possibly one of the best singles ever in 'Tears Of A Nation'.
If anyone out ther has any of vocalist Mick Crudge's solo work drop us a line. I've been trying to get hold of it for an age.

Solo work?? didn't know he had any John, in the words of Shaw Taylor, I'll "keep em peeled" the fits truely a top band from back in the day. Love the addition to jeronyme, had a bit of a soft spot for some of the 'psychobilly' stuff.

Vulture,
I wouldn't go quite that far.... I love that L.P.! But this is certainly the fits hitting their stride.
Nuzz,
Keep 'em peeled indeed! It does exist. He used to play North London a bit as it goes.
Jeronyme posting is currently keeping me sane! I always loved Sounds Fair, and it's brilliant he's posting here. Great stuff as well.

Seaside Moz,
Really! Shit i'd love to see that. I keep threatening to go up every year & just never get round to it. Always go to 'Beautiful Days' the week after & just never seem to have the cash come the time.
Fuck & bollocks! Mick Crudge solo.
Cheers for comment by the way. You know if he's doing any other solo dates?
