Crux - Sounds 21/05/83

Nuneaton herberts Crux, in interview with uncle Gary Bushell from 83.
'Give Us Work' is for all unemployed builders and construction lads & lasses all over the country.
Just the one tack, as this is available pretty much everywhere. Taken from The Oi! collection split with The Samples.

OOhhh, we're cooking with gasoline now...I remember getting the split with Crash on a 12" and staring at the cover for hours. There are plenty of bands that are technically much better and certainly more prolific than Crux but they, on the other hand, had that elusive "something" that few others do.

I actually own a Crux shirt, very worn at this point and very prized.

I never bought the 12 inch at the time, as I already had the Crash 7 inch which made up the split. But I taped the Crux side off a mate (who had taped the Crash side off me, you know how it goes) so I was chuffed when the Samples split came out,& readily availble again. In decent quality. Yeah, sadly overlooked, as a lot of the better bands in this genre are.
